Our long-term success as a firm depends largely on our ability to develop future leaders.

We devote significant time and resources to professional development. In fact, this is so important to us that we have dedicated professional development resources focused solely on helping our associates achieve their professional goals through training, mentoring, feedback programs and other initiatives. Few law firms of our size devote the full-time resources that we do to professional development.

We offer a myriad of corporate, labor and litigation education and training programs, often as lunch sessions. Most of these Vedder University programs qualify for CLE credit. In addition, our attorneys have access to classroom and online programming through the Practising Law Institute. We also provide ongoing training on a wide variety of topics such as legal writing, business development, professional responsibility/ethics, loss prevention, and negotiation skills and other skills-based training.

While it is each attorney’s responsibility to comply with all mandatory continuing legal education requirements, our Professional Development team utilizes an online tracking system to assist each attorney in tracking his or her status during each CLE compliance review period.
