Jonathan Maude was quoted in an article in d&I Leaders which looks into how people can support each other in a multi-faith society. Despite nearly 300,000 households across England and Wales having people of different religions living alongside each other, discrimination against religious employees is still common.

Maude commented, “It’s really no surprise that employers struggle to comply with the law on religion and belief discrimination. Identifying what constitutes a “belief” and accommodating the observance of a religion or a belief by employees without causing disruption or negative feeling in the workforce, can be tricky things to achieve.”
