Christine C. Arentz joined Vedder in 2016 and serves as the Firm’s Chief Human Resources Officer.
As the head of Human Resources, Chris directs all aspects of the Human Resources function including talent management, succession planning, change management, organizational and performance management, staff training and development, charitable and community events, benefits and wellness, policy implementation and compliance, leadership and coaching guidance, and staff compensation. Chris takes great pride and joy in developing her team and promoting from within. Chris provide strategic leadership by articulating human resources needs and plans to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and Shareholders.
Prior to joining Vedder, Chris served in various HR management capacities at AM Law 50 Firms, where she led key initiatives such as benefits and wellness awareness and strategy, secretarial teaming, compensation analysis, performance management and policy enhancements.
When not serving the Firm in her role as CHRO, Chris enjoys spending time with her family, getting a workout in, and being outdoors.
