Christy Ho focuses her practice on Global Transportation Finance, advising clients in the aviation and shipping sectors.

She represents banks, lessors, investors, and corporate borrowers in complex financing transactions, including asset-based lending, operating and finance leasing, sale-leasebacks, full recourse debt, JOLCO and other structured finance for high-value assets such as aircraft, aircraft engines, helicopters, container vessels, and tankers.

Christy guides clients through the regulatory, technical, and operational complexities of each transaction, structuring deals that support commercial objectives and deliver efficient, reliable outcomes.

She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay, enabling her to provide seamless support across diverse international markets.

Experience

• Acted for banks on finance lease arrangements for commercial aircraft, including structuring and documentation of leasing facilities.
• Acted for banks on refinancing transactions for aircraft, advising on restructuring of existing facilities and related security packages.
• Acted for lessors in operating lease transactions involving aircraft and aircraft engines leased to various airlines, advising on transaction documentation, regulatory compliance, and asset management provisions.
• Acted for an international charterer in JOLCO transactions involving the financing and long-term charter of container vessels, advising on structuring, documentation, and coordination with Japanese investors.
