Juan A. Cruz joined Vedder in 2016 and serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.
In this role, he acts as a strategic business advisor and oversees all aspects of the Firm’s accounting and finance operations, including long-term financial planning. With more than 25 years of experience in the legal industry, Juan brings a proven track record of navigating complex business challenges through his expertise in strategic growth initiatives, pricing strategies, process optimization, operational accounting, and financial reporting and analysis.
Prior to joining Vedder, Juan served as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at an Am Law 100 firm, where he led key initiatives in financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, strategic financial planning, business intelligence reporting, and treasury management. Juan is known for his results-driven leadership and commitment to excellence, contributing significantly to the financial strength and operational efficiency through data-driven decision making.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Juan enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing golf.
